Claude A. Bergeron is a Maine-based photographer who enjoys shooting a variety of subjects ranging from classic Maine scenery to the urban settings of New York City; from nature to still life. A casual photographer for most of his life, his interest in serious photography began with the acquisition of his first DSLR camera several years ago. Although fond of land and seascapes, he also began to see the natural lines and patterns in subjects he would observe – influenced by his 30-plus years in drafting and design. He often isolates these everyday subjects in an attempt to place them in a more compelling framework.

"Although I do occasionally dabble in family or portrait photography, my interests are mainly in capturing the beauty of my surroundings, as well as the interesting, everyday images that lay sometimes hidden in plain sight."

Claude’s work has been selected as a finalist in the "Through the Lens" competition and "Maine Photography Show," respectively in Lewiston and Boothbay Harbor, Maine. His work has also appeared several times in Art Walk L-A, as well as in the Yarmouth Art Festival.  His work will also be appearing soon at the Harlow Art Gallery's Art2016 juried show in Hallowell, Maine.
